Arrival Story:
I had the mom kitty and dad (who was 23 yrs old at the time) and they had a litter of 5 kittens. 2 pure white like mom and 2 Maine Coon like dad and then there was Franky- pure jet black with gold eyes. I had always wanted a black kitty so I knew I was keeping him.
Bio:
Franky was not your usual cat. When he was first born, for the first 3 days his momma kept taking him and hiding him and I would have to go hunt him down to feed him with an eye dropper. She was afraid she didn't have enough milk for all her kittens so I had to invent a formula that was close to her milk and help feed them. Franky became very human oriented and acted like a dog instead of a cat. He liked to ride in the vehicle with me, begged for food like a dog and had to sleep in bed, under the covers nestled against my chest and chin with his head on my out-stretched arm, sucking his paw. There were 3 favorite foods that he would set on a stool near the kitchen table and beg- spaghetti & meatballs, lasagne, and Maypo. He also would eat Rice Krispies and milk. He passed away suddenly on Nov. 5, 2004 (at 14 yrs old) during an emergency surgery on a ruptured tumor inside the outer and inner layer of his left ear. His passing devistated mum and dad for months because other than the ear filling up with blood he was in perfect health and the vet was even upset over loosing him. There will never be an other who acted like Franky.
