Arrival Story:
I had wanted a Birman cat for years and was always looking in books at their pictures and reading about them. It wasn't until a friend went out and bought a British Shorthair that I decided to take the plunge and buy a Birman. Of course, when I went to get Jake there was another Birman going spare, so naturally I came home with two. LOL!

Bio:
Jake is very soft, he's not a fighter. He hates to be picked up off his feet but loves to sit with you and be stroked. He particularly enjoys being groomed, unlike his brother Chino, who hates it. He is only playful if you get him on his own. He isn't a cat with a strong personality so if other cats are playing with a toy, he will sit back and let them. If I want to give him some playtime, I have to separate him from the others first.
