Arrival Story:
Pippi is Lucy's daughter. She was born in our neighbor's garage. The neighbor caught her three siblings and brought them to the humane society, but Pip escaped him. However, she didn't escape our havahart trap. By the time we caught her, we'd become very attached to her mom and wanted to keep Lucy. After learning Pippi's siblings had gone to the Humane Society, we decided Lucy would be happiest if she got to keep one of her babies. So Pippi joined the family, too.

Okay I know I was sposed to finish the scary story but Mama gave me a treat and I furgot what happened that was scary.

But now there is something ELSE happning in our house and I don't even know what to think.

The other day Mama came home and she had a new litter box and a new collar and a new fud dish. Then she and Papa went away for a little while and when they came back they had a NOTHER CAT.

I dint even know there were more cats. I thought we were all of them.

The nother cat is black like Torii, but she's a girl like me and Mommy. She's also skinny like Bertie. Mama says her name is Charlotte and she is our new sister but I'm not sure yet.

She better learn that the top of Tabby Towers is MINE.

A scary story for halloween. Part 1

It was just an ordinary day and everyone thought nothing was going on until Mama Angela and Papa started shutting all the doors in the house.
Then Mama brought up the carrier crates. Bertie said, "Oh look a cozy spot to lie down" and he walked right in the big one. For as smart as he is, sometimes he is not very smart, because Mama came over and closed the door and locked it and he couldn't get out!

Then Mama found Mommy Lucy and scooped her up and put her in another crate, and then Mama chased me around and it took her a long time but she did finally scoop me and then I scratched her good but she still put me in the other crate.

Now there were three of us in three crates in the kitchen. "Help us!" we said and Torii came around and sniffed at the crates. "Bertie's in a dog crate" he said and he laughed. "Woof, Bertie!"

"Let us out!" I said but Torii just snickered and walked away.

Then Mama and Papa came over and Papa said "I'll carry the girls if you take Bertie" and then they picked us up in the crates and opened the door and carried us outside where it was COLD and WINDY.

"Put me back in the house this instant!" I said.

"I would like to go back inside, please, I'm scared" said Mommy.

Bertie said, "Yay, outside! Now let me out of this crate so I can run around!"

But Mama and Papa did not let us out or even let us back in the warm house. Instead, they put us in the car.

"I wanna go home!" I said.

"Me too!" said Mommy.

"These two are really noisy and complainy" said Bertie.

But Papa started the car and we drove away.

...to be continued.

We are very sad.

I asked Bertie to help me write this blog entry, and he started to type and then he got upset and he had to ask my Mommy Lucy to help, and then she got all teary and she had to ask Torii to help. Torii looked very sad and scared and he couldn't think of anything to say, either, so we all sat around the computer for a long time trying to think of a way to tell you all that our friend and sister Gilda passed away this weekend.

She was very sick and we are glad that she is not in pain anymore, but we miss her very much. Her bed has been empty all week. Bertie curled up in it to remember what it was like to snuggle up with Gilda and her fluffy fur, but he couldn't get comfortable because it wasn't the same.

It just isn't the same at all in the house because Gilda isn't getting her special food and she's not in Mama Angela's lap and she's not mooing at me when I walk by. She was a very special kitty-lady and even though sometimes she was crabby I still miss her very much.

I hope she can see this blog where she is now because I want her to know she was important to me. So important that even though nobody else could help me I wrote this entry very carefully by myself and double-checked and tried not to make very many mistakes.

Goodbye, Miss Gilda Kitty. We love you.
