Arrival Story:
Some 30 years ago my mother gave me a beautiful white angora kitten. I was very attached to it, and thought a lot about him in 2003. We already had 3 cats from people who had to give away kittens, but decided to purchase a white cat 'just for the memory'. We found an ad in the local paper and went off to take a look. Even though she was not an Angora, Sweetie captured my heart, and we went home with her that evening. (After all, isn't every kitten different and unique?!)

Bio:
Sweetie came from a dubious source. The "breeder" lived in an apartment that did not allow pets. There were no parent cats in sight. All the kittens were of adoptable age, but looked like they could have been from different litters. Sweetie was the only white one, and had a very loving personality. She had papers, and after negotiating with the 'breeder' we went home with Sweetie in a department store shopping bag to avoid attracting attention to the fact that there may have been a kitten in the building. How funny! Our bag was mewing as we went out of the building!
