Arrival Story: I was discovered by a kind man who fed feral cats, in a bank parking lot at midnight - I was very tame though, unlike the other kitties there. I walked right up to him and was furry friendly. He didn't want to take me home in case I was someone's pet, but the next 2 nites I was still there, so he did. I was taken to a vet, and had my shots, and was neutered and then Meowmy was calling adoption orgs in our area looking fur a new kitty, and when the man described me something clicked. When I met her I was in a cage and made happy paws in the air when I saw her - and then I cuddled with her when she held me. End of story MOL! I was Meowmy's only cat fur 10 years bc I had a doggie sister I loved and didn't get along well with other felines. She is is Heaven now, so Meowmy got Humphrey fur us to love, and while I am Top Cat in our home, I do love him furry much. Life is great!

I hope Mommy gives me a special salmon dinner - my favorite! I'd also like a lot of extra love and to be allowed to eat curling ribbon and flowers - my other two favorites! I don't think that is going to happen, but I can hope! I'm going to be 14, and am still very youthful and suave, much like the Sean Connery of catdom!
With no warning, apparently HQ decided to remove a lot of the height room we had in our fun boxes part of our pages and because of that all our pages fell apart - I wrote to complain and ask them to please put it back the way it was! I now have NO room for my little decorative touches I always put on my page and can only have my photos, background, music player and guestbook - I do NOT like not being about to add some little pumpkins and bats and other fun things to my page.'
Apparently the problem has been sorted out (although all my codes had to be reentered into different boxes and many of us have to redo our pages now!) and I will try to work on putting all my little fun things back in but first, a nice nap in my heated cat bed!
As a sophisticated cat of the world, I have many hobbies, including orinthology, and was most pleased to hear the sound of cheeping on our back porch the other day, signaling birds were near! I rushed to our screen door and there they were, two very cute little brown finches, awkwardly attempting flight, and hopping about. They looked half grown, with some baby feathers and fluff, as if they had just recently left the nest. They were sooo close, yet so far away with that screen door in between us - I wish I could have been let out just this once, ummm, only to help them with their flight, of course MOL!
They flew off before Mommy was able to grab her camera - drat! I just love birds and don't see why we can't have some of our own for pets - darn it!
We're taking it easy on Catster now - it's Summer and time for relaxing and vacations - and resting our eyes from the internet - I need mine to be sharp for bird watching! I very much miss all the exciting adventures we had on myspace - going to the moon, inventing things in my science lab, fishing trips, pub crawls in London, and on and on and there seems to be almost none of that on Catster and I wish those of us who love that sort of thing could all form a group for that! - for now, just going to pop on here and off, write in my diary, comment to friend's photos (a cool new feature here!), and enjoy the Summer with my family. Life is meant to be enjoyed!
