Arrival Story:
Sugar was my Mom's cat. Sugar was just a kitten when she joined Mom's family. After Mom passed away in August, Sugar and Spunky remained at her house with us visiting every day and trying to find them a forever home. We were unable to find someone who could give them a loving home, and knowing that our home would be best for them, they joined our growing family! You never know what path life will take you down, and we know that Spunky and Sugar will bring us joy!

Bio:
Sugar is rather shy, but when she warms up to you, she is very affectionate! Due to all the changes in her life during the past few months, she has taken her stress out on her belly and paws by overgrooming. She has a bare belly and hair loss on her legs, but she is much calmer now, and the hair is starting to grow back!

It Takes Two!

Two years ago . . . . . . two kitties joined Catster . . . . . . two candles on our Catster cake!

Spunky and I joined our Catster family two years ago today with our very own pages! Thank you to all the friends we've made over those two years. You have really supported us in our ups and downs, and Spunky and I appreciate each one of you!

Now, let's eat cake . . . . . . . .

Visiting Calvin!

I just got back from the vet's office! I had to go for my yearly visit, but the vet lady didn't need to take blood since I got that checked last month.

I heard Calvin screaming, Get me outta here when I went back to the area where they trimmed my nails. I told him he would have to wait until 6:00 to come home.

I got my shots and everything checked out okay. I'm 8 1/2 pounds.

I wanted to tell you a story. I've been venturing upstairs - especially when Newman comes downstairs to visit me. While he is downstairs, I can explore the upstairs without him getting in my face.

Last night I was checking out the kitchen and sunroom. I found a litterbox that I had not seen before. So, I pooped in it! MOL! For some reason, Mawmee thought it was hilarious . . . . . . . .

What's The Problem?

Why would you want to have a cat-free internet day?

Does too much cuteness do bad stuff to you?

Do people die from cuteness overload?

I went to the website that Diego mentioned in his diary, and found out this interesting fact:

A national survey of female breast cancer survivors found that 76% received daily support from their cats during breast cancer treatment and 84% said that their cats helped provide comfort while battling the disease.

So, it looks like in addition to being cute, we provide comfort! I also have read that we can help lower blood pressure when someone gets agitated! I think I'll help Mawmee right now! MOL!

Cuteness and cats rule . . . . . . . .
