I may be almost completely blind, but at least I didn't get myself locked in the hall closet for over an hour while Mawmee and Daddy were out to dinner for Gleek's birthday!
Anyone who wants to be Head of Household should have a cry loud enough to get himself out of trouble.
I have a nightlight in my litterbox room. I let Mawmee share my room with her washer and dryer. Cats can see in the dark, but since I'm almost blind, Mawmee thinks I need a nightlight.
Well, my nightlight bulb has been burned out, and so has Vivien's nightlight in the garage. Mawmee found two bulbs in the closet to replace them. Vivien got a white bulb, and I got a red one.
Mawmee replaced my old bulb right after she fed me. She came back a few minutes later, and my red light was flashing! I have a flashing nightlight - MOL!
She said that red flashing light didn't look right, so she turned off my nightlight. I'm in the dark tonight . . . . . . . .
I'm taking all the necessary steps towards becoming Head of Household!
1. I have eaten out of every food bowl in this house - that would be five!
2. Yesterday, I took a nap on the big bed - Mawmee and Daddy's giant, tall bed. Mawmee didn't see how I got up there, but I found the steps that took me to the cedar chest, and then I just jumped up and hoped I was going to land on something - MOL!
3. I've been on the living room sofa!
4. I've slept in the former Head of Household's bed.
5. I can do steps - carpeted or wooden!
6. I've used almost every litterbox in the house. I still need to conquer the Litter Robot!
