I consented to accept my current position due to the death of my predecessor and the fact that my previous position was too crowded (ie there was another cat there already). I was not aware that there would be (shudder) a German Shepherd in residence or that after that one went to the Big Kennel In The Sky they would get another German Shepherd. It is most unfortunate but I am adjusting. (They got another cat, too, but I ignore his existence. He has red hair and came from a shelter and is common).
