Arrival Story:
I really resisted getting a cat but mice were becoming a big problem in my new home. I thought myself more a dog person but when I heard my Aunt had a litter on the farm she was trying to find homes for I bit the bullet. So my sister and my brother went out with me and we all decided to take one home. The grey one was the one I was most attracted to - so she ended up being mine. At the end of the day one other kittie was left over - a tabby and well she went home with me too. So now I have two cats and they were the best thing that ever happened to me. Both were so very affectionate and if I have to say so myself great hunters. When the weather was nice they went out but at night they were with me.

Bio:
Spirit was the quieter of the two. She was content to watch from a far and approach at her timing. I said she was a free spirit and hence her name. She didn't mind going to the vet's. The vet would say she couldn't hear her heart over the purring. Spirit is always the first to jump on my bed when I am ready to sleep. She makes sure I acknowledge her before departing to make room for the other cat which always took her place by the crook of my arm.
