Arrival Story:
Rascal and her brother, Leo, somehow ended up at a shelter at the age of 11 where they were running short on time. Homeward Trails Animal Rescue stepped in and placed them in a loving foster home. When Leo became very sick, they needed forever parents who could take on Leo's daily care and vet bills. Having driven them both to appointments as a volunteer, I was already in love with them. When it became clear that they had no where else to go, they came to us--their real forever home!

Bio:
Rascal is having a bit of trouble adjusting to her new home. Well, her new home is lovely, it's really just her little brother, Oop, that she hates. He is far too high energy and rambunctious for her taste! After a month of daily inappropriate elimination, she started taking antidepressants to help her cope and seems to be doing much better. Her solution of getting rid of Oop just wasn't an option!
