Arrival Story: Years ago, my grandfather had a farm with lots of cows. I loved the cats. Meowy was a barn cat. I used to carry her around like a ragdoll according to my mom, and she just adored every moment. One day my dad and I were at the barn for a reason I do not remember, and she climbed into the car with us. We only live 3 houses away, so it wasn't a long trip. We got home, and my mom was reluctant to keep her, but we did. My mom likes cats, she's just allergic. After all these years, Meowy loves all of us humans, (just not the other cats), and she only seems to have eyes especially for my mom. I named her Meowy because she meowed a lot when she was young. After she had kittens at about a year old, she grew silent, and I wondered if I should rename her. But now that she is 17 and practically deaf, she has earned her name back. Hence the nickname big mouth. She's so loud.
Bio: On April 18, 2008, we had to put Meowy down. Over the course of the week, she was acting weirder and weirder...walking around in circles in the yard, standing in corners, walking slowly and staggering, etc. We decided to take her to the vet, possibly to get put down. When we put her in the pet taxi, she didn't even have enough strength to stand, and fell over. We found out she had a heart attack and a stroke. She turned 18 this spring, and she is surely missed. I still expect to hear her chirp at me when I go out to the porch.

I've Been On Catster Since:
I am so good at being bad. I ruined my sisters good pair of black leather shoes. That's right, by peeing on them! I also got her boyfriend's sneakers. If these people would just hold me when I want them to, I wouldn't have to pee on their stuff.
Man. I'm having fun this week. The humans tossed the so-called clean towels back into the washer and cloroxed the basket, but I'll bet they didn't expect me to pee in the other basket too!! I peed all over pink and red and orange towels this time, and a brand new bed spread. They had to wash those too! I'm so proud of myself! I also like to lay in the driveway while they are trying to drive the big vehicle thingy up in, because one of them has to get out of the car, and pick me up so I don't get runned over. Hey, what do I care? They see me, and then I get held! Or, I like to stay out of sight behind the car while they are backing it up, because, again, somebody always gets out and picks me up to move me. These fleas are really itchy. But I don't want anymore of that advantage stuff. It's fun to watch the humans itch. It's payback for not staying seated somewhere and holding me on their lap. I wonder what I'll do bad today, since it is early yet...
I'm grounded now. My mom just came in from outside and told my sister (the person who put my pictures on here. We consider her my sister since she's only 4 years older than me) that I was just crossing the road and a car had to slow down, and apparently they beeped their horn at me (I didn't hear it. I think they're lying). Sis said I was lucky that they slowed down and didn't speed up. She said not many people like cats, and they won't hesitate to run them over, and that I should know that. I was hit by a car severeal years ago. The humans didn't know about it, they just knew that I'd been missing for 2 days. My mom came down to the driveway to get the mail, and I used my loudest meow to get her attention. I had been lying in the ditch for those 2 1/2 days. Mom said that if it had rained, I would have drowned. My pelvis was shattered, but I somehow had to figure out a way to follow mom all over the house. So I dragged myself with my front claws, and pooped under mom's bed (I knew she would like that). Sis says I haven't learned my lesson. What's a lesson?
