Arrival Story:
Mac joined our family on August 17, 2007, at the age of 16. His family since he was a kitten had posted an email on the Story County freecycle group looking for advice on how to place him; he needed a new home because of allergies (human, not his).

Bio:
Because Mac's new brother Victor is such a thug, Mac lived in the guest room for about the first 18 months in his new home. The transition was delayed by the illness and passing of Toby, but during that time, I always spent a few hours sleeping in the guest room with Mac every night. Eventually I was able to integrate Mac into the cat family and now he has the run of the house, and after Alice passed away, Mac has actually become the alpha cat! Poor Victor, put in his place by Mac, nearly 4 times his age!
