Livia is our Blue Abyssinian girl, our second-oldest kitty, and the sweetest-natured cat I've ever met. All she wants is love 24/7, and hasn't got a mean bone in her body. In fact, this might NOT be so good, as sometimes our other guys use her as the local punching bag! Poor thing. She's "low girl on the totem pole" as far as the feline pecking order is concerned in our house, but her gentle nature and sweet personality make her a favorite with every human she meets. She's a bit shy at first if she's not met you; but after awhile, she'll come up to you. After all, Abys are 100% social creatures - it's in their nature! Like most Abys, she's got a very, very soft miaow which she doesn't use too often - mostly when she's hungry (which is all the time.) She does have a strange fetish, however. Two of them actually. She LOVES stink - I mean, this cat will stick HER ENTIRE HEAD into my husband's work shoes (and only his - what's up with that, I wonder?) after he's just taken them off. (Does she breathe in, I always wonder?) Contrastingly, she LOVES to lick someone who's got on either perfume, cologne or body lotion. LOVES it. I'm sure most of you have gotten perfume in your mouth accidentally - know how awful it tastes? We can't for the life of us figure out why Livia likes the taste. Maybe it's different-tasting to cats???
