Favorite Toy: The world is Little Bit's playpen and everything is a potential toy for her: paper, shoe laces, window shade cords, Xmas tree ornaments. More conventional toys include toy mice, the Cat Dancer and wands with feathers.
Favorite Nap Spot: "Her" chair in the backyard.
Favorite Food: Bacon.

Arrival Story: One day 2 kittens (2 - 3 months old) showed up at our house out of nowhere. The larger kitten was very friendly, but the little one was very afraid and wouldn't come near us, even to eat. The resident kitty, Chai, was not too happy about this and since we were living in a 2 room studio with one cat and 2 part-time kids we decided not to keep them. We couldn't catch the little one, so we took the larger one to Animal Control and followed his progress to make sure he got adopted. The little one kept hanging around (no big surprise since I was feeding her) despite Chai's attempts to run her off! Finally it was time to get her spayed so I caught her (no easy task) and took her in to Pets Unlimited. When she came back she needed to stay inside for 2 weeks and from that point on she was our second cat. We've moved to a bigger house where there is plenty of room for everyone and Little Bit is a full-fledged and much beloved member of our family. Even Chai loves her!
Bio: Little Bit is the funniest little cat! Once in a while she meows very softly, but most of the time she makes the cutest little trilling and whirring sounds. She is such a happy little girl and so darn cute.
She loves to play and be chased. Chai is her first choice as a playmate, but Mom is OK too! Anything that moves is worth playing with in Little Bit's world.
For the first year we owned her, visitors to our house never saw her. Now when we have guests she interacts with them and sometimes even "flirts" by rolling around on the floor in front of them. Occasionally she will let first-time visitors pet her or give her a cheek rub! She is still skittish about noises and sudden movements, but she has made incredible progress in her social skills.
Update 11/08: Little Bit now has a tabby sister. It took some time to adjust, but now they romp around and enjoy playing together.

1. I'm thankful that of all the doorsteps in San Francisco to wind up on, I found Mom & Dad's.
2. I'm thankful that I have the most handsome and sweetest husband in the world - my Sweet PURRince SouSou!!
3. I'm thankful that I will never have to worry where my next meal is coming from.
4. I'm thankful that even when I'm naughty Mom & Dad love me and accept me for who I am.
5. I am so happy and thankful for my furiends on Catster who make my life special and full of joy (I borrowed that one from Elmer!).
