Arrival Story:
I was born in a garage to one of the toughest smallest mama cats ever with a brother (Blondie) and a sister. My mama knew the garage was the only safe place in the neighborhood for little kits. So she took us there to live our lives.

Bio:
The neighborhood used to be a scary place. The boys in that neighborhood liked to torture, tease and hurt cats. Then a family moved in. Father was not afraid to call the police to yell at the boys. All the feral neighborhood cats came to know this new family's home as safe gathering place to find food and shelter. My mama brought us there and the Family took good care of us. They were all lovely people, but Little Girl, ah she was my favorite. I loved her ever so much. Wherever she was was where I wanted to be. I loved her lap. I loved to follow her when she played outside. I let her carry me for hours. I wish we could have spent 25 hours a day together, but they tell me that's just not possible! One time she was digging weeds for her mom and I followed her. She looked up and could read in my eyes what I was about to do. She said "don't even think it!" but I was already flying through the air, and grabbed her jacket with my claws! It was the only time she ever yelled at me. I sat five feet away from her and tried not to look sad. She felt soooo guilty, even though my claws had scratched her. I could tell she felt bad, so I jumped on to her back and clawed my way to her shoulder. She let me stay there for the rest of the day. Little Girl and I were best friends. I really think we could read each other's minds. Or at the very least, we could read each other very well.

Namesake:
I, Candy's Little Girl, loved her very much. She was such a beautiful soul that I decided that every calico I have for the rest of my life will have a candy name to honor her memory. So far there have been Licorice and Starbursts. Both lovely cats in their own right.

I can finally talk to Little Girl and all my cat friends again. Funny, Little Girl isn't so little anymore. Oh, this is going to be fun! What a nice place for a shy girl like me to reach out and make some friends. I can't wait to get started. But I'll write more later, I need to let my little sis Licorice use the computer to write part of her Grand Adventure.
