Arrival Story:
This poor old lady at the ripe age of 8 years old was brought into the vet clinic that I worked at to be euthanized. Her owner stated the cat had suffered anxiety as a result of the children leaving home(did i mention she does not like children)... a follow up exam revealed she really wanted to put her to sleep because she was no longer using her kitty litter box. Well, Sophie just wanted it CLEAN!!! She came to live with me and my family in our house full of clean kitty litter boxes, has successfully managed to urinate in her box each and every time. This cat appreciates us and is happy to be living here!

Bio:
Her original name was Carmela... but it didn't seem to fit, and Sophie it has been since we acquired her! She doesn't seem to mind the name change one bit.
