Arrival Story:
Lula came to me from an american shorthair rescue society along with her best friend Punkin. Like him, she'd never lived in a home with less than 20 cats. She's quite thankful to be in a home where she gets all the attention she deserves.

Bio:
Unfortunately, Lula-bug is fairly inbred, and while she's a very loving kitty with beautiful color (van dilute calico), she's not very smart or robust. I think she has some kind of feline developmental disability, when she first came to live with me, she had trouble following toys around turns and used to get stuck up on the fridge all the time and get confused about how to get down. But with lots of love and attention she's become less confused and better at visual tracking. In the end though, it doesn't matter because she's got a loving indoor home where she gets all the petting she ever wants!

Lula's gone

Lula's mom here. She passed on this evening after a struggle with cardiomyopathy. She went well, I got to hold her until the end. She was purring and happy and her whole family now misses her terribly.

I lost mom today. I thought she was in the downstairs bathroom. Stood outside the bathroom for 15 mintues meowing for her to come out while dad was trying to watch football. Turned out she was upstairs the whole time. Huh. Imagine that!
