Arrival Story:
Marmy's story may have begun sad, but it definately has a happy ending. In October 2006, Marmy was (by some miracle!) found by a volunteer from a pet rescue organization after being hit by a car. She quickly pulled over, and whisked him to the hospital, where they discovered he had suffered a fractured skull, and they were not sure he would make it. His rescuer investigated to see if Marmy was feral or if he was abandoned or lost, but no one claimed him. He's sometimes startled by sudden moves, and sometimes winces before a pet, which leads us to believe whatever his 1st contact with humans was, it was not a positive one. Despite that, he is a brave and loving boy. With the help of his rescuer, Marmy was nursed back to a full recovery. Ten months later, while strolling through a local street fair, my mom spotted Marmy in a cage, up for adoption. She couldn't take her eyes off of him (he's simply irresistible, after all), and when she heard his story that was enought to make her fill out an adoption application on the spot. Now Marmy is our little fur-baby. For the first time in his life, Marmy is being shown true love and a loving and safe home. He will never, ever know pain, abandonment, neglect, or the cold, cruel outside world again, and we lived happily ever after.

Bio:
Marmy is the man of the house! He loves to be groomed! All we have to do is show him his brush and he literally runs after you and plops down in front of you all ready to go! His other loves include playing with his mousie, wrestling the laundry bag, rolling around, being pet, rolling around, chasing ribbons, eating, sleeping, and of course, rolling around.

Life is Good!

It's been over two months now since arriving at my new home, but I feel like I've been hear furrrever! My new family is so proud of me for all the progress I've made and in such a short time, and, I must admit, they spoil me, for being such a good boy! I always come when I'm called (well, eventually), I greet them when they come home, and I always want to be near my family, or where ever the action is! If they're in bed, so am I; if it's movie time, you can find me right on the couch with them! I have also taken it upon myself to be their new "guard cat." Whenever someone comes to the door, I make sure to run over to the door and check out our new visitor.
All in all, life is good. I have lots of toys to play with (Mousie is still my favorite); I get lots of snuggles and love, and I have a great home. What more could a kitty want?
