Arrival Story:
I was at the barn where I worked at the time, and thought I heard the barn cat, Pizza, meowing. It sounded like she was upset. I went into the trunk room because I thought it was coming from in there. I followed the noise, and in between my trunk and the one next to it, there was this little tri color kitten. I picked her up and her eyes and nose were runny. I was surprised to find her, because there really weren't any houses close to the barn. I think someone had dropped her off there because they didn't want her. I took her up to my boss and she wouldn't take the kitten. At that time, I was living with my parents, so I called them to say I was bringing home a kitten but I would find her a home. Well, the local cat rescue wouldn't take her until she was better. I nursed her back to health, and of course, became very attached to her. When it was time to take her to the rescue, I called my dad bawling saying he would have to take her because I couldn't do it. That night my parents told me I could keep her, but I could not bring home any more animals as long as I lived under their roof.
