Arrival Story:
I saw Lily listed on Craigslist--the headline said, "Sweet white kitty is a lap cat," & the ad started off by adding, "BIG TIME" to that. Perfect! We contacted the shelter that had her & brought her home within a week. She immediately made herself at home & even with two kitty siblings now, she is definitely the queen of the castle!

Bio:
We adopted her as an adult cat in April 2007. We knew that adult cats are much less likely to find a home. She's so sweet, I don't know how anyone could resist her! She had a hernia when the shelter took her in, but she is feeling much better now. Also, she is front declawed. We would never do that to a cat, but she was the kitty who stole our hearts & someone already did it to her. Someone botched the job, too--one of her toes is completely missing! She can run, walk, & grab things just fine, but sometimes she flexes that paw as if she knows it's not quite right, poor girl.
