Arrival Story:
A friend of mine had a cat who got pregnant (Roo's sister actualy) and had a litter of 7 kittens. Wicket was the last one born and she almost died because her mother was so tired that we had to tear open Wickets birth sack and rub her to get her to start breathing. Wicket was the only black kitten of the litter and nobody wanted her. Her brothers and sisters all had the Himalayan colors and everyone said that they were prettier than Wicket. But I didn't think so. Wicket's nearly solid black coat with two little white toes and a smattering of white tummy fuzz had me won over. I was 17 and even though my dad refused to alow any more animals in the house (I had just gotten Roo a year before) my Mom and I conspired against him and brought little Wicket home. All but one of her brother's and sisters had emediatly been placed in homes, they were all so gorgous and had such sweet temperments. She was technicly suposed to be my brother's cat, since I had Roo and my sister had our very first cat Tigger. But unfortunatly for him, my room was the cleanest one to hide her in and after spending 3 months in hiding in my bedroom Wicket claimed me and my room as her territory, period. Luckily when she was discoverd, she put her considerable powers of charm to work on my Dad.. and it didn't take long to win him over. :)
