Arrival Story: I found two tiny kittens in the ditch while wandering along a forestry road. They were pretty well feral. They were sick and weak, but not too weak to make it hard for me to catch them. They would not have survived the night as temperatures were below freezing. I found out they were suffering from upper respiratory infections and both girls. Squirrel is the smaller but braver of the two. (Lucky is her sister.) Squirrel has a corkscrew twist at the end of her tail and a few white patches on her stripey, spotty, wildcat fur. Her sister depends on her for protection, play, leadership and comfort.
Bio: Both kittens have grown into the best pets I could ask for. Squirrel is more tame than her sister but they both still freak out for little or no reason. They are not good with strangers. They follow me around and watch everything I do. They like being petted. They do goofy things everyday and make me laugh. Squirrel sleeps with me almost every night.

For the birdies that hang out in my yard. My Mom. My Catster friends. For having 6 good years with my sister Lucky. And, I guess, Kitcat and Lobo. And leash walks with some grass to eat along the way. And, I like our cat tree.
Somehow, I was named Catster's Cat of the Week and then my mailbox bulged with mail from my friends old and new! I have already had concats and gifts from over 100 kitties! We tried to respond to each and every one. We hope we didn't miss anyone. The special gift section is tricky because they keep moving around. If we did miss anyone, please forgive us.
Anyway, I am very honored by all of this. Mom is proud of me as is Lucky(RIP). Kitcat is wondering why some of the attention shifted from her to me! Ha, ha! No, not really. She is a good natured little girl and recovering from her spaying. She is doing very well now.
Now I must go on my leash walk and eat some of the last grass of the year.
First of all, our food bowls were hidden last night. I had to wake Mom up at 2am to feed me, and again around 6am. Both times, she first locked up Kitcat in the bathroom before she fed me. Weird.
Then, she took down our cat tree. Hmmmm.
Then, she forgot to feed Lobo.
Then, she took Kitcat away in the small box that she calls a cat carrier.
Later, when her and Lobo got home, some strange men came into the house. They were working on our furnace. Mom locked me up because I was getting in the way and she didn't want me to get out.
I am waiting for Kitcat to come home again. Mom is going to call about her in a half hour.
At least I got to bird watch a bit and I got my leash walk.
