Arrival Story:
We adopted Layla from our local SPCA. We were originally looking for a dog but happened to see her and knew we just had to have her! We had to wait till she was clear to be adopted (it was torture waiting), and on the day she could be adopted, we showed up a couple minuets before the SPCA was to open and there was a line. There ended up being two other people who wanted to get Layla too, so they said we would have to do a silent auction. After spending some time with Layla, she was bouncing off the walls, I was the only one able to pick her up and calm her down. The other two people ended up leaving and saying I could have her since I was so good with her. I was so SO excited! So that is how we got our Layla!!
