Arrival Story:
I was spending time away from home and wanted a companion for Pie. I sent up a request to the universe that if it was meant to be, please send one along. I got home and there was an email from a friend. Her grandkids were allergic and she needed a home for a special cat. My friend had adopted her from a pet store. Her history was sad. She and a brother were found in a dumpster. She was scrawny and badly matted with an ear infection. My friend took great care of her until it was discovered the kids were allergic. So, Shadow was shy and needed a quiet home and patient person. If she didn't find one for her, she would put her to sleep. Her reason being that being in a shelter would not do this timid girl any good. And, she was worried that with her shy personality and being 3, no one would want her. I went over, fell in love with her and brought her home. She hid under the bed for the first couple weeks. But, eventually ventured out to meet her sister Pie. After a few hisses, she fit right in. She's a joy and a little love bug. She has beautiful eyes and has the sweetest little mew. I think the Universe did a great job in matching us up.
