Arrival Story: I went into the Winnipeg Humane Society to get a dog, couldn't find one I liked. Went into the cat room where my friend was looking for a cat. Buddy was watching me come into the room. Him and I just looked at each other, nothing else seem to matter. he got off his perch and put his paw out, like to say come over here. Other people were in the room and he didn't do this with them. To make a long story short, Buddy chose me that day! I don't know when his birthday is so we celebrate his adoption. The vet figured he was around 6 -8 years old and that was in 1997. He's doing amazingly well. Buddy is the most loving, gentle cat. He allowed two other cats into his home and life. He has never fought them, but he will, on occasion, let them know he is THE BOSS!.

We thank everyone for the bewtiful stars and gifts..also thank you all for visting with my Meowmy and family...I will be forever watching over all of you.I got to adopt my Meowmy! She needed a little buddy to keep her company and I needed a new home. It was written in the stars long ago how our two souls have always been joined together. We were incomplete without each other. Travelling along destiny's road, each unaware of the other until that fateful day when the stars were aligned just so. Meowmy came through the door and my heart leaped with joy, there she is, FINALLY!, sang my soul. Meowmy had to put me on hold until the next day! For she must prepare my place! I waited all morning, so many people crowded around me and my cage, get away from me, leave me alone, my .....MEOWMY IS HERE!!...and I have been with my Meowmy ever since. I love my Meowmy very much. No one sits in her lap but me, no one gives her little love bits on the nose but me, and no one gives her head bundts but me! I sit with her the most, wherever she is in the house, I even try to go outside with her, but that's a NO No!! No one will ever love my Mewomy like me, for we were destined to be together!

Wow...did I have a very nice surprise waiting for me...Meowm was surprised and it made her day, today, when she had a chance to check out Catster. I was thought of and remembered on my anniversary/birthday!!!
It sure made Meowm happy to see all my wonderful gifts and tributes. Thank you all very very much!!!
Meowm thought lots about me on Saturday, tried real hard to have happy thoughts from the past.
She had a good talk with my picture, too. Sent me a letter she wrote me!!! I reminded Meowmy that I am fine and I was having a great day with all of my Angel furiends at my pawty they all threw in my honor. Pawtied with all my furiends in Catsterland, too!!!

I really miss Buddy, it's now four months and lots has happend to our family since then...like we're moving into a much larger house, but it is subsidized housing and this is a good thing, also Friday is great and does not require surgery after all as he does not have a hernia. Bijou is doing well as can be...but this is Buddy's diary and should focus on him. So, yes I really do miss him alot, I think about him alot through out the day, every day. He would have loved the new house we are moving to, but I don't think he would have been able to manage the stairs....b ut now he will be able to whenever he comes to visit us.
