Likes:
Violet and Klaus love each other more than anything. Vi likes to be petted on her head, and Klaus likes to be held like a baby for a long time.

Pet-Peeves:
Violet hates a small tabby named Squirrel. Klaus hates Lauder and Brandon (also on Catster).

Favorite Toy:
Violet and Klaus aren't big on toys, only because their motor skills are a little slow.

Favorite Nap Spot:
They both love getting on the condo in a sunny window together (see pic).

Favorite Food:
Iams hard food - freshly filled bowls! Klaus likes to "clean up" after the other cats eat their canned Iams food. (That's why he's a little heavier than Violet!)

Skills:
They both have the skill of reaching up and hanging on you when you least expect it - Klaus will jump, and you'd better be ready to catch him! He weighs a lot more than his sister!

Arrival Story:
Violet and Klaus were left on the doorstep of a local vet clinic. How could they??!!! The animal rescue group I'm with, Little Orphan Angels, took them in and I began to foster them. I fell in love with them - especially when I saw that they are mentally retarded, but didn't let it bother them one bit. Their balance is not as good as other cats', and they have a "look" on their face that is just precious and innocent. They get along great together, but sometimes they don't get along with the others, because I'm sure they are seen as weak in the pack, but how could you get mad at these two??

Bio:
I suspect, after research, that Violet and Klaus' mother had feline distemper while she was pregnant with them. That breaks my heart. These two are so special, I don't know what I'd do without them. I am so happy that they never have to be seperated and will always have each other.
