Arrival Story: Jewels (my older sister) showed mom where I was hiding in some bushes outside our back patio. I was only about eight weeks old, so I don't remember a lot. Mom says I was apparently outside all night until the following evening, when she got home from work. I went from being a very frightened little kitten to being a feisty little devil within days. Much to Jewels disapproval mom decided keep me when no one claimed me. Mom figures it's me who brings all the strays' home for her to feed and to find homes for them. I'm not talking!
Bio: She was almost caught by a coyote in the middle of the day when she was about a year old but I was able to get to her before the coyote got her. That was how our neighborhood found out we had a coyote family living in the bush in the north end of our property. After that I had a very hard time keeping her in. She was a little escape artist. How she survived the coyotes I will never know. When she was about 3 years old she developed Mega colon and has to take lactutose twice a day, along with a baby asprin every 3 days for another problem. She has been my medical challenge.
