Arrival Story:
Lyla had 4 beautiful kittens on Sep 5th, 2008! 2 females and 2 males. 1 mitted blue point, 1 flame point, 2 blue lynx. Lyla is a fabulous Mom!! Absolutely goregous babies!! You can see their photo albums at Webshots, http://community.webshots.com/user /constance1002 I 'was' going to keep only 1 but couldn't make up my mind between the two girls so decided to keep them both. Rex was to go to my son but having 2 cats already he decided no. So Rex is still with me and just may end up staying. Very sad, little Spike, (runt) died from an upper respiratory at 6 wks. He only weighed 4 oz... I spent a month nursing him but he was just too small to battle the dreaded disease. He was very sweet and will be in my heart memories forever. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Aug 20, 2008 Lyla Ruth is going to be a Momma!! She's due Sept 8-ish. We're EXCITED!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After 9 months of Sunny and I not being able to accept Miss Muffin's abscense I decided to get another cat. She had to be a Ragdoll, but of different coloring than Miss Muffin. I searched every avenue possible, shelters, news ads, catteries on the web, you name it, I looked there. Then I found her! When I first saw her picture online I knew she was the one special friend for Sunny and I. A week later I brought her home. Besides being a beautiful Ragdoll with her porcelain white body, blue & cream mixed feet and ears, she has a lynx face with very expressive blue blue eyes. Her dam was a cream point and her sire a lynx. I'm so happy she has coloring from them both! Lyla Ruth is huge! At 9 months she's already close to 10 lbs and nearly as tall as Sunny who's almost 5 yrs old. Her feet are still quite large, it'll be interesting to see just how big she gets. Although large in size, she's quite 'dainty' with the way she carries herself and smiles constantly, like she knows she's the prettiest kitty ever! She's not yet a total lover bug and I'm hoping as she gets older she'll become more affectionate. Right now she's total kitten and just wants to play play play. Sunny, who had literally spent every night crying for Miss Muffin since her death stopped crying the very night Lyla Ruth came home. But it took him another 2 weeks to accept her into his domain. I get the biggest kick out of how the two of them run around playing like roadrunners. Lyla Ruth is quite intelligent and quickly learned what she shouldn't do - like climb up Mom's legs to get to the tuna treat faster; or claw anything but her scratch post. I'm trying to teach her to say Ma-Ma like Sunny does and swear she was saying it during her first heat.

Bio:
Lyla Ruth has this crazy habit of playing in the bathtub. She jumps in the dry tub and scoots her feet all around like she's chasing something then will chase her own tail. She also likes to play in sinks but now that she's so big she can't scamper around in it so she twirls her body around in it instead. Tis the funniest sight to watch!
