Arrival Story:
George was my first ever cat. I got him from the RSPCA at the age of about 12 weeks. He was the last of the litter to go, possibly because he was white, and some people worry that white cats will be deaf. (George however could hear the noise of the drawer I kept his toys in from the bottom of the garden or in the airing cupboard!) I fell in love with him immediately: he was so inquisitive and cheeky. He grew into a lovely big, soft, handsome cuddly cat. George travelled with me to my parents home regularly, in his basket tucked under the seat of a train, so my family could spoil him as well.

Bio:
Poor George had hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and died age four and a half, probably while chasing birds, peacefully and quickly. I missed him terribly, and the house seemed very empty, so I went back to the RSPCA and "rescued" Flossie, my little furry monster. I still miss him lying in my arms like a baby, to have his tummy rubbed. And sleeping curled up against me at night.
