Arrival Story:
May May was part of a hoarder household of over 50 cats. She lived in that environment for almost 10 years. She was then taken by the SPCA and adopted out after one month to a family from Delaware County. Because of her teeth problems and the costs that would have to be incured in order to extract two broken and rotting teeth, she was returned after only three days only to spend another month trapped in her small cage at the SPCA. My husband and I decided Bear needed a friend so we made a trip to the SPCA for a young male dark colored cat. We came home with an emaciated 10 year old female cat that would need oral surgery and we couldn't be happier today.

Bio:
Horrible News~ Tuesday July 17th May May went to her vet appointment for a six month check up and because she wasn’t eating well for a few days. We found out that she had a cancerous tumor on her kidney and cancer through out her body. She had to be euthanized immediately to prevent her from any further pain. We miss her horribly already; the entire house is quiet and lonely without her here. Even her brother Bear feels the awkward silence. She will be missed forever!

A Year Without May May

It has been almost a year without May May. She was one of a kind. It has been a difficult adjustment but Monkee has kept it anything but quite around here. May May will always be with us!
