Arrival Story: I was adopted from a rescue in Los Angeles. Mommy had been searching for someone to keep my brother Jake company. When she saw my photo on Petfinder. com she knew I was the one. I was hanging with about 12 other cats in one room waiting to be adopted. My dad was moving and didn't want to take me along. He was going to set me loose on the streets. (That sounded fun!) His roommate took me to the cat rescue in a brown box. Only problem was another woman wanted me too! Mommy and the other lady came to see me on the same day. When I saw mommy I climbed on her back and gave her a back massage! I wanted to go home with her too! In the end, I was lucky and mommy ended up adopting me and not the other lady. I am one lucky guy to get adopted, otherwise I might not have met my big bro Jake who I idolize. He is so smart, strong and handsome, I wish I could be just like him someday. At night I have to sleep next to him and if I don't know where he is I walk around the house looking for him and shouting his name. I don't know why but people who come to the house think I'm a girl. Girls are GROSS! I'm a boy and I'm trying to gain some weight so that I am more like my brother. He can eat A LOT and I stop eating when I'm not hungry. I try to keep in shape by kickboxing with my brother each night (only if he's in the mood though.) He is really strong and usually kicks my butt, I love it though! He's so cool. He taught me how to open doors and drink from the faucet! I love my human daddy SO much! He is my favoritest human. When he comes home at night I run to the door to greet him and follow him around rubbing against him. At night I like to lay on his chest and stare into his eyes. (Okay they are closed but I still stare.) Then I nibble at his ears and lick his face and lips. (kitty kisses) this tickles him! I love for him to just carry me around like a baby and kiss my face!
Catnip Mice misbehave all the time! They never answer when you ask them a question. The way you take care of them and show them who's boss is by swatting them around then taking them in you mouth and carrying them to the bathroom where you discipline them good.
Bio: ** Micah passed away suddenly on October 30, 2008 at the age of 8. His death came as a crushing shock to us as he'd always been so healthy and the purest of heart. His severe Cardiomyopathy (HCM) had gone undetected for years but he lived long enough to come into our lives for 3 years and 3 months of his precious life. He suffered a Saddle Thrombosis which he was not able to recover from. We miss Micah terribly. The hole left in our hearts with his absence is one we'll feel for the rest of our lives. We look for ways to see Micah all around us with his love that was infectious. Our brave sweet boy you will always be missed! **

Micah I miss you everyday still. I can't believe it's been 2 months since you left us. It seems like forever. The pain isn't so close to the surface anymore but when I really think about you the pain is still just as deep. I know you're helping us to go on with our lives from where you are. Jonah was a wonderful gift to us. His playfulness reminds me of how you were in your youth, enthusiastic and innocent. I just found out today that you're bringing another surprise into our lives. In your special way you're trying to give me those things that you couldn't give me in life. Mommy always wanted more kitties but Micah thought that 2 was enough. You're personality was so big it commanded all of daddy's, mommy's and Jake's attention. When you left mommy and daddy had a big gaping hole left in their lives. Now you're planting little seeds in the hole to help us heal. You'll always be in our hearts Micah, we love you. ~Mommy
Today is gonna be a tough day for mommy and daddy. It's my 9th birthday today. It's the birthday I did not quite make it to... mommy and daddy didn't know my real actual birthday since I was adopted but they picked Dec. 23rd as my special day.
Mommy had already started planning my big event before I passed with loads of seafood (my favorite food) and a kitty birthday cake. I'll be watching them from The Bridge and I'll probably stop by sometime during the day to chat with my brother Jake. He sees me all the time if I want him to. Mommy and daddy can't see me though so I make Jake do things to remind them I'm around the house. Don't be sad for me today - I'll be celebrating my 1st birthday at the Rainbow Bridge with all my new friends here! ~Micah Angel
Mommy has been missing me a lot. The last few days have been especially tough on her. She likes to me picture me as a beautiful angel and that makes her feel happier sometimes. Krishna's Daddy on Catster gave me my lovely angel wings today. Mommy cried when she saw how beautiful I am now. Mommy I love you. I'll always be in your heart. ♥ ~Micah Angel
