Arrival Story:
Posted: January 22, 2007 For Adoption: 1-Year-Old DMH Gray Male Neutered. FIV/FeLV Negative All Vaccines and Health Care Up to Date, Records to be Provided (clean bill of health!) Several Pictures can be viewed at: http://share.shutterfly.com/action /welcome?sid=2AbNnDly3asWHk This charming and very forward boy introduced himself by jumping on the roof of my car and head-butting me as I got out. He was very hungry and was trying to charm his way inside before the cold weather hit. He has been in two foster homes for the past couple of weeks, waiting for us to get him neutered and all checked out. That gave us an opportunity to get two people’s input on his personality! He has meticulous litter box and eating habits, very tidy. EXTREMELY loving and more personality than could be summed up in a paragraph. He sits on his hind legs and talks to you as you bring something interesting his way; growls at doorbells to guard his people and walks along side of you and flops down wherever you stop. He is a typically curious young cat, needs lots of attention and frankly, no one who has met him has anything negative to say about him! We all want to keep him but have enough pets of our own. Charlie is confident and makes himself at home immediately, and not too concerned about other cats in the home (he has been around several). We haven’t seen him around dogs, but he doesn’t shy away from anything so we doubt that would be a problem. Kids might be OK, but might be better with adults or kids who have experience handling a cat. We want to adopt to an indoor-only home and the only cost is a the microchip fee, we don’t ever want him to get lost again. We just spent $200 to make sure we could say, to the best of our knowledge, we are providing a healthy homeless cat a great start to a new family. Come meet Charlie, we assure you that even if you don’t consider yourself to be a cat person, you WILL love this guy and he’ll change your mind! Please email us and we can answer your questions and set-up a time to meet Charlie, he is currently being fostered in the Tigard area.
