Arrival Story:
Lucky got trapped in our garage, which at the time wasn't used to store our car, just junk, and as we were heading to the store to get cat food for our other two cats were heard her crying. We got her out of the garage, and I stayed with her while my mom went inside to get some turkey, since we were out of cat food and water for her. I will never forget the way she wolfed down that lunch meat and the growling noises she made as she ate. When we took her to the vet the next day (we bought kitten food and kept her in our laundry room in case she had diseases that could harm our cats), he informed us he'd never seen a kitten survive so long without food or water. His exact words were "She's lucky you heard her cries. She wouldn't have made it through the night if you hadn't gotten to her in time." It's been 4 1/2 years since we found Lucky in our garage and she reminds me every day, just how Lucky she truley is.
