Arrival Story:
My meeting Pie was pure fate. I was moving from Delaware to Seattle and was bringing a cat with me. Shortly before the move she got hit by a car so I moved on my own. Before I left though I looked online to see if there were any cats that needed adoption in Seattle. After looking at hundreds of cat photos I saw the most pathetic photo of Pie (then called Chester) on a website. I printed it out and carried the photo for months in my pocket. After I was all settled in the new city I went to the shelter and looked for Pie. He wasn't there. I assumed that someone had picked him up already and picked out a little manx instead. Then I found out that the manx wasn't available for adoption yet because his owners might be coming for him. I turned my sites on a giant socially awkward tom cat that liked to make biscuits in his litter. I filled out the application, paid the fee, and anxiously awaited the next day when I could pick him up after his "operation". The next day we went to pick him up and found out that he had been put down because he, and most of the shelter, had come down with distemper! I was heart broken and very discouraged. I then took the little wrinkled photo I had of Pie out of my pocket and asked if they knew what had happened to him. They looked him up and HE WAS STILL AVAILABLE! He was living in a foster home in Wallingford. I went to visit and it was love at first site. He's been my best friend ever since.

Bio:
Pie has tears of milk and a kink in his tail from unknown origins. He's converted many non-cat lovers and has been described as being "heavy with personality". He's seriously the most awesome cat you could ever get to know.
