Just updating news of Barry.Our Vets want to rule out the Nasties .. His Blood test results came back today. Various results but the main ones are here. .His Glucose is normal range , . His ALT ....the normal range is 0 to 20....Barry,s are 147.
He has increase of White cells and his Electrolyte results as worded by our Vet...". Very Wierd results so the Lab wants to retest incase its an error as they havnt seen " results like this ." like what..... Ive no idea but a retest it will be ...We know Barry has Liver damage and he is having more tests plus Ultra sound scan to check his Liver .. . Barry took a major siezure on the day I landed in Florida 29th September.. He was seen by the Vet and given some meds to calm his brain and relax him. Barry has some degree of Brain disfunction now . He has a head tilt, his pupils are different sizes now and his eye sight is not normal. He has a strange curve as he walks and he has a strange gait now. Barry is eating, drinking and using his tray as normal..Prior to this ...Barry was one of those sweet cats that you never knew you had..never asked for anything...now, we sure know Barry is here... He is over affectionate and has some behavioural changes..He reminds us so much of Our Angel Edward.. ..

Hi, Lyn here, Alfies mum. Id like to thank everyone who helped me make my US Invasion trip so Great. I will be writing it all up and pass it out to whoever would like to read up and see what it was like for a British Hobo traveling around USA via, Greyhound, plane, Amtrak and car from Florida, around USA and back to Florida ...Coast to Coast in 30 days. I had good and bad times.... The start and end were the Bad times and the rest was good. At the start one of my cats took very ill as I landed in Florida..( He is ok but disabled and has slight brain damage now ).... at the end one of my very dear Friends, Beverly , and one of her cats died in a house fire ( See Cushag and Tiggy in Alfies family as Ive adopted their pages )
This hit me hard and I am so behind with my Thankyous , also behind with my Thankyou,s for Alfie,s Birthday Rosies Oct 31st .... also the day my friend died...
I am greatful for all the friendship and help I encountered as I traveled .Greatful for the shoulders and comforting friendships as I heard the Sad news . Huge Thankyou,s
. This Brit will be back ... USA hasnt seen the last of me..I love USA so much I want to live there...I want to die there ... my Heart is in those wide open plains... I have to follow my Heart .
