Coloration: Silver Tabby
Likes: Sleeping in a sunny spot; loves to have her ears massaged.
Pet-Peeves: Her younger sister Daisy, being picked up when she is trying to nap, going to the vet.
Favorite Toy: Doesn't play with toys too much any more (she is more of a spectator now)
Favorite Nap Spot: In my lap, or on leather chair or ottoman, in her cat sleeping bag.
Favorite Food: Wysong dry chow with pieces of bananas on top, cheese.
Skills: She makes lots of silly noises, including something that sounds just like "Uh Oh". When she uses the litter box (whispers: for number 2), she perches all four legs on the edge of the box and dangles her behind over the box.
Dwells:
indoors
Bio: Pixie was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in October 2000. Her disease has slowly progressed through the years from mild to moderate, and now extremely severe. She takes Enalapril, Dilacor, Spironalactone and Plavix every day wrapped up inside a piece of cheese to make the medicine go down easier. She has an echocardiogram every year, and once even wore an event monitor for a week. She has occasional seizures. Even though she has a serious illness, she is happy to lay in the sun, or sit in my lap while I am reading or watching tv.
As you can see, she has lost her girlish figure and has the dreaded hanging belly. Since she is a Devon Rex, she has curly, brittle whiskers. All of her whiskers have snapped off, so she now has little whisker-nubs. She is balding on her belly and legs. I think she is still beautiful!

I hope everycat had a wonderful Christmas. I had lots of fun, and got many great presents and treats. I even got a new stroller! I will post a photo of me in the stroller.
I have been feeling pretty good lately, and I really love to go out in my stroller.
I think my Mommie has too much time on her hands. Today she made a video of me eating a bananie. I love bananies. Sorry about all the lip-smacking noises I made - they just taste soooo good, it's hard to remain ladylike.
I love Catster! I have lots of new friends, and some nice people left me some treats. My Mom gives me a real treat whenever I get a virtual treat. I am a little bit embarrassed because my Mom told everyone about how I use the litter box perched on the edge. I got a new Santa hat, so I will have some new photos soon.
I had a couple of coughing episodes today, but other than that, I am feeling pretty good. I crawled inside my sleeping bag today without any help; I must be pretty smart.
Anyway, thanks again to all my new Catster friends.
