Arrival Story:
My new humans took me in. They found me in the back hall of the apartment building we live in. I was living in one of the upstairs apartments but I was being neglected and then was abandonded. When they took me in I weighed about 7 to 8 pounds, they could clearly see my shoulders and hips and could very easily feel every bone in my spine and my ribs, my eyes were almost completely dilated, my ears were severely swollen and sore(due to severe ear mites), I didn't purr, didn't play, didn't know how to drink out of a water dish(in fact I acted scared to death of it).....I just had no clue at all how to be a cat. Now I'm doing much better as you can see by my update. I'm so much happier here.

UPDATE: Well it's official....they decided I can stay. They made the decision a little over a month ago......I know I'm a bit late in updating my profile but my new mom has some health problems she needs to deal with off and on. Anyways I am doing much better. I now purr, play, drink from the water dish, look for attention, enjoy the occassional in between the front legs rub, headbutt my mom and meow/yowl. My eyes are not dilated anymore so they can really see the blue coloring now. I am going to the vets on Wednsday to get fixed and have a few other things done. On top of everything else I got my very first bath today......if I never get another one I will be sooooooooooooooo happy. Also I am still mat free and have put on a bit of weight. The last time my mom checked I had put on 6 pounds. One of the other cats here, Reeses', is actually starting to get along with me now. She will come up and sniff noses with me and she tries to play with me a bit. The other cats still hiss and growl at me. Oh and I'm also following my mom around now.So anyways that's my update. I'll post my arrival story in the next section.
