I got very jealous yesterday when Daddy was holding Molly. I sat on his legs and stared at him.
I forgave him though because he bought a coffee cup with my picture on it, so I know he's mine.
The Maine Coon Rescue ladies are opening a new store called Cats Unlimited. It's gonna be like Cat Connection, but smaller and on the other side of town. I don't know if they own it or work there, but they were setting it up when Mama and Daddy went to pick up Molly after her surgery. And Daddy saw a green cup with a picture of ME on it.
Well, it's not really me, but it looks like me! So he bought it from them so he'd have a picture of me on his coffee cup. He's almost as sweet as Fidey!
Mama helped me feel better too. Molly and I split a Fancy Feast Appetizers yesterday so I wouldn't feel left out. It was yummy. And Sophie got the parts I spilled on the floor.
I gotta shop today because Valentine's day is coming! Oooooh!
Today Mama and Daddy took my turbo scratcher and I was like WTM? I don't play with it every day but it's still mine.
But then Mama told me I'm getting a brand new one, and that she saw some with lights. So Molly's gonna use my old one, and I get the pimped up model. Eeeeee! She and Daddy are going shopping tomorrow to see if they can find one at the pet store. If not, I'll have to wait for the UPS guy to bring one.
See, if handled properly, kittens can lead to new and better toys!
Molly is doing ok. She doesn't get to run around out here yet, but she's getting braver and braver in the room with Phoebe. Phoebe is always kissing her and trying to help her learn. Yesterday they shared some of the tuna food Gimme sent with me. We didn't let the boys have any of it. Girls only! MOL It was yummy and we're gonna order some more.
If you only count cats, we're even now - 3 girls and 3 boys. But if you add in the dogs we've got the boys outnumbered 5 to 3. Of course Harry may count for more than one!
Molly might have been born on MY birthday!!! That was 9 weeks ago. We're gonna try to find out.
Murray didn't know his real birthday, so he used mine because the vet said he was right at a year old and so was I. We're waiting to hear from MC Rescue to see if they know the actual date of her birth. If not, she might celebrate it on the same date we do.
How odd is that? All us Maine Coons were born within days of each other!
