Mama went to the doctor and they used her to practice their needle skills! She came home with 3 holes in her! I asked if her doctor hired Nurse Pansy by any chance. MOL!
And she's very tired from all of that too, so I'm going to stay close by in case she needs nursing.
She got a tetanus shot, a flu shot, and they took some of her blood. They're vampires just like at the vet's office.
Daddy went with her because they were going to run errands. She thought it was going to be a quick visit, but it didn't turn out that way, so she sent Daddy on to do some of the errands and come back to pick her up.
She said it was "routine maintenance" like the car has. They just surprised her with all of it. They said the ekg was normal and her blood pressure was good, but because she sometimes has a little tight feeling in her chest they want to send her to a cardiologist for a treadmill test. That'll be fun!
Also Mama is a smart mouth. When the doctor asked if she'd been seeing things, she asked him "How would I know? I would think it's all real." He said that most people who see things know they aren't real. Hmmm. That doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I know there are people who see things that aren't real but think they are real, so his answer seems incomplete.
He is so sweet and dependable. Of course we are the 2 Maine Coons so we have to stick together, but he is an exceptionally good brother unlike my other brother.
I can't wash my back, because I can't reach it. I'm just shaped wrong. So one day Mama asked Murray to wash my back for me, and now he does! My fur is so much softer and less itchy!
He is just a sweetheart. Of course, I return the favor by washing his ears. He has very itchy ears, and you know how hard they are to wash. I'm sure if Paws were here she would do it for him, but I don't mind.
Well we all ate the wet food for about 3 weeks then only Murray and I ate it in any quantity. Miles ate enough of it to not lose weight but he seemed hungry a lot. Although he's happy. He was singing in the litterbox this morning!
Mama noticed Harry getting thinner, which is not normal. He's going to the vet today to make sure nothing else is going on.
But we got Phoebe's bag of kibble out too, and Harry dived into the bowl. So apparently he's going to be our picky eater, and he's the biggest of all of us! MOL!
I'm good with it though, because we get to have wet and dry so all's good. Mama is buying me some new kibble with brown rice instead of corn so I don't puff up again.
