Arrival Story: I was running loose and a lady took me in. Then she put me in a cardboard box she had in the garage, and took me to the shelter. When they opened the box, all kinds of spiders ran out, so they named me Spider.
I'm Miles' and Murray's adopted son. Murray claims some DNA rigging, but I don't understand that.
But THEN the nice lady lied and told them I couldn't get along with her other cats! I did too! The ladies at the shelter said I was sweet and got along with efurrykitty, but it was on my PERMANENT RECORD that I'm a troublemaker.
Well Mama saw my picture on Petfinder.com and said I looked just like Murray I. So she and Dad came all the way to Iowa to get me. Just in time too, because I'd been there a month and people thought I wouldn't fit in with other cats so they wouldn't adopt me. Bah - makes me hack up a hairball the way people lie. My adoption date is Nov 18, 2006.

The Last Forum I Posted In: BOOGERS 6th BIRTHDAY PARTY - Dec.23!!!
Dang it! I was freezing this morning and when I went to curl up on the blankets on the bed, they weren't there!
Daddy picked the coldest day of the winter to wash them. Brrrr. I grumbled loudly and for a long time until they came back out of the dryer. Even then I was still cold.
So now I discovered the dvr is free and I'm using it this afternoon. It may not be the softest bed in the house, but it's warm!
When Mama and Daddy came home last night I talked and talked, telling them everything that happened while they were gone.
Allie and Harry got into the big box of packing peanuts, and Karen had to clean up after them. Miles slept a LOT and mumbled about how he's still HOH.
Every day Harry tried to fool Karen into letting him into Phoebe's room, but Mama had warned her, and he never succeeded until Daddy opened the door last night. Then Allie followed Harry in there, and Mama started throwing cats like the crazy cat lady on the Simpsons!
Daddy is used to Murray1, who usually did what he was asked. So he stood there, and told Allie and Harry to get out. Of course they ignored him! So finally Mama handed Phoebe to Daddy, and she went in and picked up first Harry and then Allie, and tossed them into the hall. MOL! You should have seen them fly through the air!
She said Allie gained weight over Christmas. I'm not surprised. Karen left extra food out and Allie pigged out.
I hope all of you had a very merry Christmas. We're gonna play with Mama and Daddy and our new toys this week.
