Mama was feeling sick today so she went to take a nap.
After an hour or so I went to check on her and asked Allie how to nurse. I wanted to help Mama get better.
So I sat next to her and licked her face, arm and hand and I patted her hand several times too. She kept sleeping so I couldn't tell whether it worked or not.
But now she got up and says she feels better so it must have worked! I will give thanks to the purple rock later.
Speaking of the rock ONE of us (Harry) took it off the nightstand last night and put it on the floor on Daddy's side of the bed. Daddy put it on and was WEARING it! That's just wrong.
Mama has a purple rock she wears around her neck. She got it for her birthday.
Well Harry recognized some sort of spiritualness about it because he started jumping up to kiss it and pat it at least once a day while Mama's wearing it, and he tells it goodnight every night too.
So I started doing the same thing. I figure what can it hurt right? Some people are pastafarians and others are lutherans. So Harry and I pray to the purple rock. Mama said Daddy Murray used to go in the closet and pray to the luggage every morning, but I just can't believe luggage could do anything for you.
Now, the purple rock has proven itself. Harry got home safely when he ran out the door, and Mama got home safely from Grandma's house too. We can't think of a name to describe us yet (leaning toward purplologists), but we're working on it.
Last night I tried to borrow the purple rock during the night, but Mama heard me and put it under her pillow so I couldn't get it. Well, she wasn't using it!
Mama was working and I jumped up on her chair to look at her screen yesterday.
Well, there was an orange cat from Australia looking back at me!! I talked to a cat in Australia through Skype. MOL!
One of our Australian customers was talking to Mama and he showed her his cat. I just happened to jump up at the same time. The orange cat was spooked though. He's probably not as used to technology.
Of course, Harry photo-bombed the call with his tail too. That tail is a menace. It's the longest tail I've ever seen on a cat. We need a picture of it for the contest.
Still I thought the call was very cool. My daddy Murray would have just LOVED being able to have video chats with other cats.
