Arrival Story:
I just showed up one day as a young 'un and ran from mommy for three months until I decided to come in and stay forever.

Bio:
I've brought up and mothered scores of orphan neonatal kittens. I still do now and then. I have no teeth but my gums are great...I still love my crunchies and will eat anything. I have gotten deaf over the years but have gotten over my fear of thunderstorms. (Wonder why?). I made a peaceful yet unexpected departure for The Bridge on 11/28/06. I was not in pain and surrounded by vet friends and my mommy. My best friend Black Jack (#432718) also passed in his sleep at about the same time at home. That was strange destiny but we were best buds and decided to hit The Bridge together. Jack was at least 13 and handicapped. I was 23 years and (one day shy of) nine months old. I had a healthy life and I maxxed it out. Just a quick noet as mom's on an aquaintances notebook at Starbucks:

We are offline and have no compy access at work either. Hopefully we can jump on somewhere here and there but overall will be off Catster for sometime.

We are fine. We purray that our friends don't think we ran away or that something has happened to us. We're fine just offline.

Most of our pals snail mail addresses were lost on a fried hard drive so we probably won't be sending out holiday cards =(
Please don't forget us. We're still here.

I happened upon this totally adorable pic while reading the mewspaper here at The Bridge (Yes, Calvin is right...we do have a free press up here). It helps keep us updated on stuffs both here at the Bridge and back at home.

This is a back at home thing about one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen: a special needs mommycat and her baby who would LOVE a furever home. They're living at a vet office in Redondo Beach and it's a nice place but it isn't a home.
She has a cart to help her walk and her baby rides upon her back in it!
You just gotta see this!
And even better...if you have room and a big heart and either live in Redondo Beach or can get mommycat and baby from there to where you live...give them a FOREVER HOME.

23 year old Siamese Max was pulled from the kill shelter in LA by a nice rescue group (from one of my previous entries) and I'm purring these two sweeties get some real good news too =)
