Arrival Story:
Dot was once a cat in the barn next to the house, a cat which through various encounters I managed to train him to be more docile, and even to come into the house, but sadly he was too much of a handful, and at the time had to be left back to life out in the wild, so two years went on, and on the other side of the town in which I lived a neighbor found, but didn't recognize Dot and took him in looking for a cat. My mom, heading down to talk to the neighbor, the neighbor being our friend, recognized Dot and reclaimed him once again, largely because how often do you see a cat after two years and still and have him recognize and respond to you?!
