Arrival Story: We had two girl cats and my husband wanted to get a Scottie or Westie only to find that terriers don't really get along with cats too well. He then saw a picture of a kitten named Trenton for a local adoption society on petfinder.com. He thought he was very cute and wanted to get him so that he'd imprint onto my husband. He did immediately. They're very close.

Bio: We were going to name him Stitch to go with the Disney theme we had going for our other kittens but he didn't have a Stitch personality. My husband decided to name him Bond because of his snazzy tuxedo and Golden Eyes. He is a very suave cat who is almost doglike. He's very affectionate, and he loves to get on his hind legs and stretch as far as he can with one paw like he is trying to give a high five. It's very very cute. He does to everyone he meets, and to us. He loves people. He constantly has to have attention negative or otherwise. He loves to get in the way when my husband or anyone else for that matter is trying to play video games. His favorite game is to stretch out as far as he can as close to whomever feet as possible when they are playing Nintendo Wii Bowling. That way the person has to step over, noodge him out of the way before throwing the "ball", or risk stepping on him. He also loves trying to lay on arms and hands that are holding game controllers. We really love that he plays guard cat at night. He climbs up onto my husband first, checks his breathing, and then comes over to me for my check. He loves smelling breath. If one of the girls choose to misbehave he tackles them and chews their ears. We like to refer to him as a furry copcar because he reinforces our reprimands to the girl cats.

The pet fair was in town, so I went with my neighbors and we had a blast! There were all kinds of samples and toys to get! They had kitty teasers 3 for $2.00! Bond is in seventh heaven. It tops the rubber Pooh toys as his favorite! I am bummed that tikicat wasn't there, but overall it was an extremely fruitful trip. The cats are stoked because now they have lots of new food and toys!

One day I was surfing the web when I heard a wet noise which I can only describe as a "splat." I looked up in time to see a wet rag come sailing out of the restroom like a fish. I jumped up and ran to the bathroom and sure enough, there was Bond with wet paws. We had just recently begun renovation on our restroom and had some leaking pipes with a bucket underneath. There were also rags in the bucket to assist with the absorbency. For whatever reason, Bond is fascinated with the rags and wants to help remove them from the bucket for us. We have to keep the door open to prevent him from doing this. Not that it matters however, because he has figured out that he can open the lever style door handle just by placing his paws on it. He chases his little rubber Pooh keychains under the door and has just figured out that he could open the door and help himself to his toy. He also figured out that he could open the door when anyone is using the facilities so thank goodness there is a lock on it. (c=
