I went to the vet today... I sang all the way there & in the waiting room... I sniggled mama & papa while they hugged me & cuddled me... I purred so loud for them to let them know they were doing the right thing... Dr A & Val laid me on my side then Dr A released me from sickness with such dignity & grace...
I was looking into my pawrents eyes when I left
the next thing I knew, I was on a path lit by the brightest stars I've ever seen! the night gave way to a perfect sunrise with the biggest most beautiful rainbow ever! then I heard a noise, starting low then growing louder...I was greeted by Biddie & a contigent of angels!!
I saw friends that I hadn't seen in so long: TC, Chumley, BFF Amelia, Zoe, my twin Al, my kittymama Missy, Uncle PB Floyd, Aunties Tassie, Samantha, & Great-Auntie Egypt & so many wonderful friends!!
I'm free from pain & sickness now...I can run & play like a young kit again & cuddle up with Biddie again (how I've missed my sister!)
I'll be purring for efurryone here & sending gentle, loving, guidance from the Bridge
thank you, efurryone, for all your purrs & prayers & love!! I can't tell you how much it means to me & my family
Hi, efurryone... I'm home for tonight... I wasn't voluntarily eating at the vet's & they had to wrap me up like a burrito to feed me with an oral syringe (how embaressing!)
I had the noisiest, most inconsiderate neighbor there! silly fluffy orangie in the room below me would not stop the "growl of doom" the whole time he was there! hello? cats are tryin to rest, loudmouth! MOL ok ok he wasn't that bad, only when someone walked by...which, being the hospital was all day MOL poor guy...he was almost as handsome as Pooh
my next door neighbor was a quiet tortie...didn't catch her name though...& someone down the hall kept singing to amuse us (or maybe she was a little off? I don't know)...it was a full house at Hotel Linwood MOL boy, if we had been feeling up to it, there would've been quite a pawty!
aside from the hyperthyroidism, they don't know what else is wrong with me. all my bloodwork came back normal, except thyroid levels (obviously MOL) & once again I've baffled my Drs
I'm refusing all food, including my favorite roastybeast, but I have been drinking some water & enjoyed a few licks of benebac...my pawrents decided to bring me home for 1 last night... I have an appointment tomorrow morning...I'm going to see Biddie, my twin Al, Missy-mama-nanny-cat (my kittymama), my dearest BFF Amelia, TC, Muffin, Zoe, Jules & so many other wonderful friends & beloved family members... I won't be sick anymore & can run & play & climb on as many doors as I want to without being afraid of getting hurt jumping down (MOL haven't done that in YEARS!)
thank you to my friends for the rosies, purrs, potps, & sweet messages! it means so much more than words can express!!!
I love you all
We just got back from visiting Gracie. she asked me to say hi to efurryone for her
she doesn't have pancreatitis. she is on meds for hyperthyroidism but still isn't eating. they had to force feed her with a slurry mix in a syringe (not the kind with a needle though)
we brought her some roastybeast because in the past, she'd always eat that! it's her favoritest food in the world!
she showed absolutely no interest in it & pretty much just layed, semi-curled up, while we gave her TONS of lovin...she lifted her chin for scratches & smiled when I rubbed that little bean of hers but she didn't look directly at us much & that light in her eyes isn't as bright asit usually is... we're very worried about her & even though we know she's come very close before but surprised us...we're no so confident this time....
please keep sweet Gracie in your purrs...she's just a sweet darlin' old girl
