An Interesting Year

Okay - I have a better understanding about where my new daddy came from. He and my meowmy knew each other when they were kids - ages 16-20 - 3 states away from here. They ran into each other again 3 years ago, and revived their friendship. They fell in love - out of the middle of nowhere - last year and married this year...so I guess there is nothing to get jealous about - he adores us all... meowmy actually accuses him of marrying her more for us than for her - HA! Purrsonally, I would like to think this was true! Have a great day efurryone!

July 4th mewsings

There have been a lot of changes in this house this year. First of all, my meowmy fell in love with a new daddy who I think married meowmy because of me and my siblings...he is so very good to us. Second, we lost my Aunt Lucky to the Rainbow Bridge in January. Aunt Lucky was always there for me - gave me kisses every day. Back to Daddy though. Me and the other boys in the family, my Uncle JJ and little brother Cashmere, like to hang out with Daddy in the bedroom and watch tv. Unfortunately, Mommy and the girls want to join us every single night - its just so very unfair. Daddy calls the bed the boys fort, and that's what we all think it should be. What gives meowmy the right to come and lay down with all of us? We boy kitties try and take over her side of the bed so that she can't join us, but somehow Daddy always sticks up for her at the last minute and we purry ones have to move. Someday, the furry family members will win this one...
