Likes:
Food. When I want it. How I want it. I enjoy sleep, so leave me alone. I can also appreciate obedience in a human servant.

Pet-Peeves:
Change. Disruptions.

Favorite Toy:
I do not deign to PLAY. (All rumors that I have ever indulged in games with shadows, flashlights or feather toys are false I tell you, FALSE!)

Favorite Nap Spot:
I sleep on a black leather pedestal, which the humans crudely call a stool, that is positioned near Man-Servant so that he may pet me during his work day. I allow him to think that the den is his, but in reality, it is my nap-room. Floor pedestaland all.

Favorite Food:
You WILL NOT change my food! I eat Purina Indoor Cat formula ONLY! Is this understood? You may occasionally gift me with wet Fancy Feast.

Skills:
I am perfection, does that count as a skill?

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story:
By the end of my first few months of life, I was alone in the world. Separated from my mother and littermates, I had no one to keep my coat immaculate! Thus, I positioned myself on a yellow dotted line and waited for the rolling car things to stop, which several abruptly did. I chose to grace a Man with my presence when he quickly opened the car-thing's door. I was taken to a home with two little girls and a Woman - she did not let me into the house until I had been to see the wicked Vet. I only forgave her because she gave me milk that first night. I have reigned happily ever since.

Bio:
As a kitten, I had what my human servants call epilepsy. It was most unpleasant, disorienting and, frankly, frightening! But, because I couldn't attain my goal of becoming perfection itself with such a liability I decided that I would outgrow that nasty disorder. I haven't had a spell in years, thank you very much. Now some might say that my deafness does not allow me to be considered perfect. I am deaf because your world is horrendously noisy. Besides, I do not want to hear any excuses. You do as I say when I meow it, and all is well.

My Name

One of my newest Catster Friends asked my family a very good question. How did we get our names? Well, most of us have a story, so we all decided to write diary entries about it.
My name is officialy Marshmallow. That's the name my Human Servants decided on after I moved in with them. They discarded several options before that, including Lira. That one had to do with Italian money, and the Man-Servant wanted that name because I was free. Silly, if you ask me. Finally the chose Marshmallow. Because I'm fluffy and white, obviously. But then, being the strange humans that they are, they never called me that. Instead, it was Kitty. All of my life.
Humans, whatcha gonna do?

For my Humans

My poor Human Servants. They miss me. Who can blame them really. I am fantastic. But I do feel bad for them. After all, they gave me years of dedicated service. I've been wanting to assure them that I am well and happy. It took them long enough, but they've finally noticed. I heard the Man-Servant telling one of the younger Servants that every once in a while he sees my tail flit past the edge of the couch, or that he and Woman-servant swear they catch a glimpse of me from the corner of their eyes.
All I have to say is, well, of COURSE you do! I am proud to say that I am a stubborn cat, they know I hate change. Why should they expect death to force me from my home or stop me from making my daily rounds about the house? I plan to continue to spend parts of my days near my humans.
Silly humans. I refuse to accept changes.

I've been tagged! Fun and purrs!

I've been tagged by Grey 2002-2005, the handsomest cat this side of the Bridge!!
Here are the rules:

Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Cats who are tagged need to write in their own diaries about the seven things and the rules. You need to choose seven cats to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment that they have been tagged and to read your diary!

MY LUCKY TAGGED CATS:
1- Princess - not fogotten (249135)
2- Gavroche (311763)
3- Thomas Anderson (581030)
4- Wishbone (561434)
5- Spook(558400)
6- Samantha (567637)
7- Jazzpurr (558800)

OK READY?

1) When I was young, I would sit on the TV and chase basketballs with my paws when the people watched a game.

2) As a kitten, when I first graced the humans with my presence, they thought I was grey, because my fur was so filthy from my hard outdoor life. I even had *shudder* fleas!

3) As a youngster, I was a fabulous huntress despite all odds. I was deaf and not allowed outside. Yet the humans would let me into the attached garage; there, I would catch mice (and I only brought one into the house… it was alive) and even snakes, amazing my servants with my skill.

4) I tolerate NO other cats around my servants. I’ve successfully chased two out of the home. One went outdoors, and one to College-Servant.

5) I love to play “tail game.” It was a great way to keep Man-Servant entertained for hours.

6) I love to be brushed. When I was alive, there was a red brush that I would rub against so insistently that I would knock it out of my servants’ hands. Silly servants. They should know to hold on tightly.

7) I have recently met the most loving poet ever! Grey 2002-2005, is so sweet to me!
