On the prowl

So much change

Well they did it to me again, we are in another new place but this one is the best so far! I have got a windowseat to the world in the living room. I can look out the patio door and see even more. Oh and sooo many birds out there to tempt a gal like me!

This place is so awesome, I can stretch my legs and get some good exercise now. I'm only 4 and really need to keep myself in shape! When my people go to sleep, it's the stairs for me! I can run up and down them without bumping into that dumb dog or having to trip my people to keep them out of my way! Every so often if I hit the top just right I can get a flying leap from the top right into the bedroom and hit my favorite plastic bag. Boy does that startle them! But that squirt gun is DOWN stairs! he he he

Now that dog is another story. My friend Pitou was pretty cool and easy to intimidate because he was smaller than me! But he disappeared and I miss him as much as my people do. This new dog is funny though, she's bigger than me and I can trap her in any room I want with a simple growl and a swat!

We do have a fun game of king of the stairs. Whoever can keep the other lower on the steps is the winner. Guess who usually wins!! ME

Well, back to my sunny spot. This house is great for that, I can rest without the dog finding me!

So many temptations

Well no catches but overal yesterday was pretty good. My person keeps the ac on so it's comfortable and there are places I can go hide when I get a chill.

My day started with bright sunshine which I soaked up in the window with generous windowsills. I am so glad my people moved here. Just enough people going by to keep it interesting but not too many to make it annoying!

Had a bite to eat then thought I'd look for dessert. Those cockatiels are nice and plump, but how to get them from the cage? They bite too, so that makes it an extra challenge! Well they threw seeds on me so I headed to my buddy's
room to see where I could settle in. Well, as I'm crawling over boxes, what do my sharp cat eyes spot but a green thing wandering around this glass box! I thought I'd get a closer look and got right up on top of it when my Miss notices me! Yea she yells, but that doesn't really bother me, so I continue my perusing. Then she gets up and you guessed it, I got the water squirt! Well guess I'll have to give it up til later when no one is around!
