Baby got back!

Mom finally let me write a journal entry! It's about time the rest of the world knew all my very important comments.
Where to begin? Well, it's been hot lately; and it got pretty sticky around here when some other people were taking care of us and opened all the windows and turned off the noisy air-makers. Why did they want us to sweat so bad? Don't they know they can get the same effect playing with my string?!
We also got some funky new litter in our box last week. Not too crazy about that, and I think mom's less than thrilled, too. It's just not the same, so we've all sort of been freaked out and not doing a good job of burying things, mom says. What does she expect? That new stuff is just garbage!
Otherwise, I've kept things going pretty smoothly around here. I was in a particularly snuggly mood last night when mom was watching a movie. I like to climb on her lap and get the attention back where it should be-- on me! And today she even let me sit in her lap while she was on the computer. That's a relatively new thing. I must be losing some weight if I was able to fit up there!
Saw some birds outside today, but they're not much interest for me anymore since I've learned there's just no way out of the windows. ::sigh:: Maybe someday mom will believe me that I really can handle myself...
Well, not much else to tell you about, except that I've got a huge hankering for some yogurt, which was denied to me this morning. Mom will pay during her sleep, though, when I get up to "snuggle" on her tummy! mwahahahaa
