Likes:
He loves, loves, loves human company. He wants to be on our laps or sitting, lying or walking next to us all day long! He also likes cleaning his brother, Floyd, eating (he's a little piglet!) and watching birds through the window.

Pet-Peeves:
He doesn't have any. He's a very easy going boy.

Favorite Toy:
His brother, Floyd.

Favorite Nap Spot:
Mom and dad's bed!

Favorite Food:
Because of Floyd's (his brother) sensitive tummy, we buy Science Diet Sensitive Stomach for the kitties. Vincent loves it, and he also likes to stick his head in Abby's bowl (his canine sister) from time to time! (Don't tell her -- she'll freak out!)

Skills:
He is a professional love bug!! He charms everyone he meets!

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story:
We already had one cat (Floyd) and a dog (Abby) when we decided to adopt a second cat. The primary reason for wanting to get another cat was because Floyd seemed lonely and in need of a companion. We went to several animal shelters over the course of 2 - 3 months and looked at a lot of cats, but none of them really "connected" with us. My husband is very partial to orange tabbys, so we were particularly on the lookout for an orange tabby with the right kind of personality. Then, in early May, we decided on a whim, to visit the Helen Woodward Animal shelter in San Diego. As we walked in the front door, we saw a beautiful orange tabby in a cage right at the entrance. We immediately went over to him and he rubbed his head against our fingers and told us in no uncertain terms that he wanted to come home with us! We were sold -- this was the kitty that was meant for us! We took him home that day to meet his "brother" Floyd and his canine "sister" Abby. Floyd didn't like the new arrival very much at first. But, after about a week, the two boys started to get along and now they are the best of pals--almost inseperable!

Bio:
All we know about Vincent is that he had been transferred from an animal shelter in Los Angeles to San Diego when the L.A. shelter got too full. He must have been very well treated in his previous home because he has no fear of people -- in fact, he's overbearingly affectionate. He is one of the sweetest cats we've ever come across!
