A day in the life of a pampered princess

Every day's a party

Jumped on mom and dad's bed this morning meowing as loud as possible as I always do trying to get someone out to let me outside. Once Buster (canine brother) is out of bed he likes to roam around the yard for a bit so I need my time to myself. Mom and dad are always trying to get me to stay quiet a while longer so they can sleep. I don't understand why they like sleep so much. I can go on 14-16 hours of sleep a day and I'm fine.
Once one of the 'rents are up it's outside I go. Usually I'll wander through the grass like a little tiger, other times I'll park my furry butt under a bush and sun myself. Ahhh the warmth. And sometimes, I'll go wading through Buster's kiddie pool. Mom laughs so much when she sees me. She says I look like I've been shrunk down and I'm wandering through a large water dish. I like to get my feet wet. It makes me feel alive.
Once all the morning excitement is over, it's nap time for me. And napping is where I'll be until mom and dad get home from work. I try and get as much sleep as possible during the day so that I can be up bright and early to wake up mom and dad and start the day all over again.
