About Me!

Oooooh it is HOT!

It has been so hot in Virginia for the past week it is all I can do to play with my toys. My sister and I pretty much spend all day sleeping on the floor in the coolest spots we can find.... which is usually somewhere in the vacinity of the fans. In a month we get to stay with a sitter cause my mom & dad are going out of town. I don't want them to go but mom's sister is getting married and mom says I will like K.J.

Ugh it's too hot to write... I got to go back to the fan. Later!

Ahh... the good life

I am finally getting my mom to type another entry. She's been really really busy with her school. She said "don't worry I will write one soon for you I promise." I mean I can't do it. Paws and all. Don't make for good typing instruments. Nothing new to report really. My dad is going away for the summer to work and mom is going to miss him very much. He'll be home on weekends though. It's just until September.... good time for girl bonding.

My grandparents are coming to visit soon. I have met my dad's parents because they don't live very far away. But my mom's parents live far far away and I have never met them. I am excited. I bet they give me lots of treats! I am under strict orders not to claw them.

My mom says this because I have woken her up twice in a week by scratching her. I didn't MEAN to I was just running and couldn't help it. I got her elbow on Monday and today I got her ankle. There was lots of screaming! It's kinda cool though you can see all my claw marks on her ankle.... humans scratch too easily. They need more fur.

Anyway that's it for now... just wanted to make sure you got an update!

What happened?

Yesterday my mom and dad started freaking out because they looked around the apartment and saw that stuff was missing. I heard them say that whoever broke into the apartment had a key and took stuff that wouldn't be immediatly noticed. All in all they got my mom's laptop computer, a brand new digital camera, and a black bag which they carried it all in. I mean I could have told them that if I could speak human but I couldn't. I THOUGHT it was weird that a strange person came into the apartment when mom and dad weren't home. For heavens sake they were only gone for an hour or so.

My mom said to me later, "I wish you could speak so you could tell the police I am not crazy." She's not... it's really gone.... even though all the doors and windows were locked tight.

It was the first time I saw a policeman and I tried to rub all over him, but he didn't want to get his uniform all cat hair. I guess I can't blame him, he did pet me though.

My mom says that even with the insurance they can't afford to replace the laptop because of the deductable... ah well, I am sure she'll get another one someday :) She said the best thing about it was that me and Lucy weren't harmed or let outside. She said that she would beat anyone to a pulp that ever harmed us. Well I didn't want to tell her that the thief actually pet us and didn't hurt us at all.... but I don't think she really wants to hear that right now.
