Arrival Story:
Tiger and Midnight were found together, at the base of a tree on an area of land where my parents were preparing to build a house. He hissed, swatted and growled to protect his sister. After living 6 months on the farm, we had to leave due to a fire and a couple months later Tiger and Midi moved with me to our own house.

Bio:
Tiger loved everyone, but he was a man's cat. He was particularly fond of men. He was loving, affectionate, playful and all around special. Tiger developed diabetes in 2000. The diagnosis and determining treatment was difficult on him. We had to go to the vet 4 times a week for nearly 2 months. Finally his glucose levels were regulated by insulin injections twice a day. He had to be on special food from that point on. He was so good about getting his daily shots. It was just part of life and it hardly phased him. The last couple years of his life were difficult. He developed several other health conditions common for diabetics. On July 25th, 2005, Tiger was tired of being sick and he decided it was time to join Ronnie on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. It was probably the most difficult thing I've had to experience to date. We were so lucky to have him enrich our lives for 16 wonderful years. He is and will always be deeply missed.
